Bertsch-Frank & Associates is involved in many roadway and bridge projects all over the state of Indiana, and we are experienced in providing high quality product in a fast paced environment. Our typical services include project control points, cross sections, location and grade for fixtures such as signs, box culverts, water/sewer lines, right-of-way staking, radius points, curb staking, and we will final stake any monuments or section corners that may need to be maintained for your project. Here are some recent highway projects we’ve been a part of:
  • Main Street Underpass (Mishawaka, IN)
    Construction of a new underpass to replace the at-grade crossing of Main Street and the Grand Trunk Western Railroad, including a temporary
    railroad runaround.

  • US 24 (Fort Wayne, IN)
    Construction of a new 4 lane highway including a new interchange with bridge at the intersection of the new highway 24 and SR 101.

  • SR 26 (Blackford & Jay Counties, IN)
    3 miles of road resurfacing and rehabilitation with bridge replacement on State Road 26 in a rural farmland area.

  • Coolspring Avenue (Michigan City, IN)
    Road reconstruction and widening project in an urban area including new sidewalk and storm sewer facilities.

  • Kokomo Bypass (Kokomo, IN)
    New Road Construction of US 31 Kokomo Bypass including construction of a new bridge over US 31 on CR 100S.

  • County Road 17 (Goshen, IN)
    Development of a new four lane highway that will serve as a north-south bypass through the city of Goshen which includes the construction of two new bridges over CR 30 and CR 32.

  • Illinois Road (Fort Wayne, IN)
    Road reconstruction project with added travel lanes in an urban area of Fort Wayne, including services required to add sheet piling and remove unsuitable peat and fill with suitable soil.

  • Aboite Center Road (Fort Wayne, IN)
    Road reconstruction and widening project in an urban area including new sidewalk and storm sewer facilities.

  • 6th Street (Monticello, IN)
    Road reconstruction Project including new round-about to provide a direct corridor to Indiana Beach.

  • US 31 (Lakeville, IN)
    Construction of a new 5.5 mile section of Highway 31 including two new bridges.
