Mr. Frank’s surveying career began by working as a field technician in 1995. At the time, he was primarily involved in residential and commercial real estate land surveys. He has since branched out into all areas of surveying including construction engineering and layout. As a principal member of Bertsch-Frank & Associates, Ross’s responsibilities include:

Nick Bertsch

Nick is a Professional Land Surveyor for the state of Indiana. He has been on staff with Bertsch-Frank & Associates since 2006 and became a partner in 2018.  Nick is a 2001 Graduate of Purdue University in Fort Wayne with an Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology. Nick began working as a survey technician in 1998. His surveying experience includes construction engineering, topographical, and boundary surveys using GPS and Robotic technologies. He is a member of the Northeast chapter of the Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors.

Wayne Richardson

Mr. Richardson began his construction, engineering, and surveying career in 2007. He graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Civil Engineering and a MS in Transportation, and he has been on staff at Bertsch-Frank since 2011. Wayne Richardson serves as our Engineering Manager and oversees development projects related to site design, transportation, and stormwater management. His primary functions include:

  • Site Development and Design
  • Stormwater Analysis and Management Plans
  • Transportation Design and Traffic Analysis
  • Stormwater, Erosion, and Sediment Control Plans; SWQCP, and Inspections
  • Topographical and As-built Survey Analysis
  • Government Permitting
  • Engineering, SWPPP, and Proposal development
