Huntington, Indiana

Two EE’s Winery

Initial survey, site design, permitting, and construction layout for a new winery located in Huntington, Indiana.  The plans required a new entrance through a divided highway known as U.S. #24 requiring significant permitting through the Indiana Department of Transportation.  The development of this site required the construction of a stormwater detention basin and permitting through the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the local County Surveyor’s Office.
Notre Dame, Indiana

University of Notre Dame Indoor Practice Facility

Initial survey and site design services associated with a new indoor practice football field facility containing 97,500 sf.  The facility will eventually be connected to a future addition to the Guglielmino Athletics Complex via a pedestrian bridge crossing Courtney Lane.  Bertsch-Frank was responsible for site plans associated with layout, demolition, grading, utilities, erosion control, and ADA walkway amenities.  In addition, Bertsch-Frank participated in a group stormwater drainage study of the immediate site and downstream areas with respect to an existing retention basis located at the south end of campus.
